Elicia Lowitz of Stony Brook Counseling Center South, is a therapist in Davie.  Her office is located in the Crexent Business Center in Flamingo Commons in Davie.  (Corner of Flamingo Road and Orange Blvd. see map)

Elicia Lowitz has been a therapist at Stony Brook in Fort Lauderdale since 1992 but now she is also a therapist in Davie!  Mrs. Lowitz received her Masters of Education degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Miami.  Her specialties include individual psychotherapy, child/adolescent and family counseling (ages 5 and up), ADHD in adults and children, mood and anxiety disorders, stress management, adjustment disorders, women’s issues, couples counseling, and gay and lesbian issues.

After practicing for almost 20 years at Stony Brook Counseling Center in Fort Lauderdale, Elicia Lowitz, shown above, now practices in Davie.

She uses cognitive-behavioral therapy as well as a solution focused perspective while working through these issues.  Mrs. Lowitz is also a registered yoga technician (RYT), which enables her to incorporate the benefits of mindfulness and the yoga philosophy into many facets of her work.  Her therapist office in Davie opened in June of 2013.

Elicia Lowitz has been a practicing clinician for over 20 years, all right here in South Florida.  Her reputation is stellar which is evidenced by the number of clients who have recommended Elicia’s service to others as well as the number of institutions (companies, school systems, EAP’s, etc…) who also refer clients to Elicia.
